Purchasing a Water Ionizer: What to Look For

1. Basic requirement of any water ionizer is for it to have an ability to produce water with a pH between 9.5 - 9.9.
2. Electrodes:  The size and number of platinum coated titanium electrodes that the water ionizer has will determine the strength and longevity of the Ionized Water it is producing.  More surface contact produces stronger, longer lasting Ionized Water.
3. Transformer:  The size of the transformer will also determine how strong the Ionized Water will become.  Small transformers apply less power and will overheat quicker tan larger ones.
4. Reliability:  Preferably, a water ionizer model ought to be on the market for at least a year before you should consider purchasing it.  The reputation and longevity of the manufacturer is also of great importance.  I prefer to purchase a water ionizer from a company that manufactures nothing other than water ionizers, not only as a sideline product.
5. Warranty:  Most water ionizers typically have a one year warranty.
